Proof of Life. A compact wallet that opens wide and holds more than you'd expect. Three card slots, space for notes and coins, zip around three sides. Square, considered, and made to slip into a bag without bulk.
 
Made from Malai Biocomposite: bacterial cellulose grown from coconut water. The texture and feel of leather — without any animal involvement. The warm black colour and natural surface texture are characteristic of the material — no two pieces are identical.
Over time, the material develops a natural patina that makes it distinctly yours.
When you're done with it — compost it. It'll be gone in 90 days.
 
The material
Malai Biocomposite is grown from organic coconut water using bacterial fermentation. No trees, no animals, no petrochemicals. Finished by skilled artisans in South India, with organic cotton lining and silver metal hardware.

Care
Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid prolonged soaking. The material is designed for daily use. A natural patina develops over time.
